Cascadian Building Maintenance was founded in Redmond, Washington, in the spring of 1994. The original goal of creating a "PREMIER" janitorial service, with a solid customer service oriented business plan, became a reality with the combined efforts and talents of Steve Normann (Founder/Chairman of the Board) and Tim Reyhons (current Cascadian President). Together, at that time, the two "Founding Fathers" had over twenty years of janitorial and managerial experience.
Over the years, with a great quality and customer service track record, Cascadian had an opportunity to expand rapidly. In late 1998, with several customers expanding their operations and new customers eager to come on board, Kelly Foster was hired as the General Manager. Kelly not only believed in the Cascadian business plan but he also brought with him a wealth of management experience in the janitorial industry, within the Puget Sound area. With hard work and the dedication of new and seasoned employees, year 1999 was off to an incredible start!
As the number of customers increased, another industry veteran was needed to lead our night operations staff. Fernando Soberanis, a Supervisor with our company at the time; was selected for the challenge. Fernando began his career at Cascadian in 1998 and has since become our Operations Manager overseeing 300+ employees with the assistance of eight Supervisors.
