Tim Reyhons
President

Tim Reyhons / President:

Tim has worked in a management capacity in the janitorial industry right here in the Puget Sound area for over 22 years. Starting in the industry at one of the largest janitorial firms in Seattle (and in the nation), he was promoted within months from the companies Management Training Program to become one of the youngest District Managers in the companies history. With exceptional maturity and leadership, he has managed many of the larger accounts in the "downtown core" of Seattle. He was responsible for the cleaning of over 3 million square feet of class "A" office buildings and managed well over 100 employees on a nightly basis. This first hand experience of day to day operations gave him a greater appreciation of the role of the labor force and, just as importantly, the needs and expectations of the customer.

Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University. As a majority owner, Tim has been responsible since the beginning of building a solid foundation for Cascadian Building Maintenance. Since the inception of the company back in the spring of 1994, Tim, along with company founder, Steve Normann, has guided Cascadian to the progressive and successful company that it is today.

Kelly Foster
General Manager

Kelly Foster / General Manager:

Kelly brings an eclectic 28 years of experience to Cascadian and our customers. He began his career in the industry with a large national company and quickly advanced through the ranks from his initial position as a janitor, to an Area Supervisor and then to an Operations Manager in just six years. Needing new challenges, he was promoted to a District Manager position, where he excelled for seven years. He managed an array of different types of accounts, varying from Medical, Industrial, Shopping/Retail Malls and Athletic Clubs, to multiple High Rise Office Buildings in the greater Seattle area.

Kelly has a trinity of talents in our industry. Not only does he bring the experience of managing janitorial services for over 3 million square feet of various business properties at one time, he also brings experience in specialty services such as green cleaning, carpet dying, marble and stone care and building restoration/pressure washing. He also brings to the table the special skill of teaching. As an example, he has spent two years instructing Basic Janitorial skills to the WIAT, taught RPA Janitorial Chapters with BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), trained staff in Medical Building Cleaning specifics and has been certified through Labor and Industries for Biohazard instruction.

Additionally, Kelly chairs our weekly Operations and Management meetings, providing instruction in the very latest industry innovations and technology, as well as imparting his experience in quality customer service and business ethics. We are very lucky at Cascadian to have him as a partner.

Greg Davis
Marketing Director

Greg Davis / Marketing Director:

Greg has well over 25 years of janitorial industry management experience in the Puget Sound area, starting by bringing over 15 years of management experience with one of the largest janitorial companies in the United States to Cascadian. Greg's wealth of experience includes managing individual large-scale, multi-facility projects, statewide and region-wide financial institution projects with hundreds of individual locations, start-up, program development and integration of large-scale high-tech facilities, as well as the management of numerous medical, industrial, warehouse and commercial office space projects throughout the Northwest. Additionally, Greg has extensive experience in many other facets of the janitorial industry, such as being the Safety Director for a staff of over 250 employees, and getting the hands-on teaching experience with front line personnel as the Supervisor Development Training Director.

Greg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Washington State University in 1982. After graduating, Greg began his career in the janitorial industry as a Management Trainee and moved up quickly as a District Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Assistant Branch Manager. With each step he has taken on more challenging positions with greater responsibilities. Now with Cascadian, since coming on board in February 2000, he has a sense of ownership in a growing company and we are extremely pleased to have him on board. With Cascadian, in addition to his account management and marketing responsibilities, Greg also serves as the IT Manager and, as one of his functions under the IT umbrella, he is responsible for the development and on-going management of our web site.

Ira Thomas Jr.
District Manager

Ira Thomas Jr. / District Manger:

Ira has over 25 years of experience in the janitorial industry right here in the Puget Sound area, encompassing all facets of the business. He came up through the ranks of one of the largest national janitorial companies in the business, starting as a janitor and then being promoted to the positions of Account Foreperson, Area Supervisor, District Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, prior to coming on board in his current position with Cascadian.

Ira has an extensive background in crew training and human resource training, including teaching a class at a local community college, and an in-depth knowledge of flood/disaster clean-ups and flood restoration experience. With these types of talents, as well as his excellent "customer service" skills and account management skills, we are very fortunate to have Ira as part of the "CASCADIAN TEAM"!

Mike Sowder
District Manager

Mike Sowder / District Manager:

Mike has an extensive background in the janitorial industry, with over 19 years of management experience right here in the Bellevue/Seattle area. He started his career in the commercial janitorial services industry early in life, working for a large national janitorial company during the summer while attending high school. After graduating from college on the East Coast, he returned to the company he had worked for as a janitor in high school and worked his way through their management training program, gaining extensive knowledge of all aspects of the industry, from floor crew work, to staff supervision, to quality control techniques. After leaving the janitorial services industry for a short period of time to work in the janitorial supply industry, Mike returned to manage large branch and account operations with great success. For seven years, he was responsible for the entire janitorial services operations of one of the largest office "campus" environments in the entire nation, at over 15 million square feet of office space.

Since joining Cascadian in December 2008, Mike has assumed the management responsibilities of a number of our larger customers, as well as taking on the role of our Safety Director. Mike has brought a wealth of management knowledge and experience to a Cascadian team that has already established itself as one of the industry leaders in the Puget Sound region. His addition to Cascadian has further strengthened our management staff and will allow for continued seamless future growth and will further our excellent reputation for customer service and customer satisfaction.

Ben Zafft
District Manager

Ben Zafft / District Manager:

Ben joined the janitorial industry with one of the largest national companies in the United States in 2004, learning all facets of the industry while moving up the corporate ladder, until becoming a District Manager in early 2007.

Ben came on board with the Cascadian team in early 2009, bringing with him a proven track record of excellent customer service and customer relations skills. He is currently managing more than one million square feet of downtown Seattle high-rise property and has previous experience managing downtown Seattle icons such as Columbia Center and Rainier Tower.

Ben has also participated significantly in the process of three buildings becoming LEED certified and was a key component in those buildings transitioning from traditional cleaning methods to the "green" processes they use today. We are excited to have Ben as part of the Cascadian management team!

Fernando Soberanis
Night Operations Manager

Fernando Soberanis / Night Operations Manager:

Fernando brings well over 21 years of experience in the night operations portion of the janitorial industry in the Puget Sound are to Cascadian and our customers, ranging from being a janitor, a foreperson and a maintenance mechanic in various office buildings in the area, to being promoted to the Assistant Operations Manager position with us and finally to his current role as the overall Night Operations Manager with Cascadian Building Maintenance.

Fernando has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with the litany of things that come up on a nightly basis in our industry...from employee issues and training, to cleaning chemical and cleaning technique knowledge, to equipment function and repair and, finally, to quality assurance account work-loading. Fernando takes great pride in knowing how to make things work at night that assures a clean environment for our customers to come back to each and every morning.
